Short films deadline extended

NEW_Briag_ShortFilmYou have until midnight 8 June to get your films in.

We know there’s a huge pool of talent out there in Gippsland. So let’s dive in.

The deadline has been extended to midnight Wednesday 8 June for final entries in the Short Film Program at this weekend’s 12th annual Briagolong Film Festival.  Don’t panic if you haven’t started your post-production.  Most iPads, tablets and smartphones have some very simple editing apps you can use.

Or, if you are lucky enough to have a film you’ve made in the past 12 months in Gippsland (or you are a Gippslander), it is eligible.  Your video should be under five minutes (or less is even better). It must be suitable for a general audience that includes older children. And you will need to give permission for it to be visible on our Vimeo channel after the screening (you still retain the copyright.)

The Short Film Program is a popular part of the Saturday screening in the all-Australian cinema Briagolong Film Festival.  There is no limit on the style of short video for entry: drama, comedy, documentary, interview, music video, animation. Contact briagfilmfest@gmail.com or call 0400 113539 for more details.
