Lesley Duxbury was the lucky name drawn from the BFFFs (Briagolong Film Festival Friends) who registered before and at the festival. Lesley and 99 of her mates will soon be enjoying a private film screening at our lovely supporters’ Stratford Courthouse Theatre.
Lesley might have to charter a bus, as she is one of our faithful friends who make the trek from the city (Melbourne, not Sale!) to attend. You will have a fantastic evening, Lesley.
Thanks once again, Gavin and Anna at Stratford Courthouse, for the incredibly generous prize, and for also supporting our short film selected entrants with passes.
And for all those who missed out – you don’t have to wait a year before seeing great films. The Stratford Courthouse Film Society has a wonderful range of films screening monthly.
It’s friendly, perfect-sized and they even have a licensed bar (and do meals if you book ahead). You don’t have to be a member to turn up and see if it’s for you – but there are some great perks for those who join. That’s where we’ll be getting our film-fix while we build up for next year’s BFF. So, see you all there, and thanks once again for making the Briagolong Film Festival a standout event.
